Celebrity Gossip, January 10: The Voice judge ‘flirting is harmless’

The singer said that no-one ever made her feel at ease when she was trying to make it.

In the first episode of the new BBC One series, Rita swoons when she sees one contestant, and calls him “really hot” and “handsome”.

The star, 24, said that her flirting was “always harmless”.

She added: “I like to make people feel comfortable, regardless of the situation.”

Rita, who replaces KYLIE MINOGUE as the only female coach, added: “No-one really did that for me and I wish they did, so it’s about cracking the ice so they can do what they came here to do, which was to blow us away.”

JENNIFER ANISTON has revealed she had to overcome her fear of going underwater for her new film, Cake.

The former Friends star, who portrays a woman battling chronic pain in the drama, had to be immersed in water in one scene, as her character undergoes aquatic therapy as a means of pain relief.

“I basically have a real fear of going underwater. As a kid, I drove my tricycle into the pool and [now] I can’t go underwater,” she told People.com.

“To get the one shot of me going under with the weights, I think we did that 30 times. It was the hardest day of my life,” she added.

Jennifer said she can sympathise with her character, Claire Simmons, who also seeks relief in drugs and alcohol.

“I unfortunately have watched a lot of very extraordinary people suffer pretty extraordinary circumstances due to [addiction],” she said. “But what was really eye-opening to me was that [in] the chronic pain community... these people are just trying to feel normal and feel a flicker of nothing for a second.”

OLIVIA COLMAN is worried that viewers are fed up with having to see her cry on TV all the time.

The Broadchurch star has become known for taking on emotional, weepy roles in recent years, in dramas such as The Accused, The Dilemma and film Tyrannosaur, but has said she feels she could have taken it too far.

She told Vogue: “I have a sneaking suspicion that audiences have seen me crying a little bit too often in the past couple of years.

“And if people get really fed up with me, then I won’t get more work. And if I can’t do what I love, then I will shrivel up and die.

“If something touches me, I cry. That’s it. I’m a bit raw, a bit rubbish really. Often a director will say to me, ‘I don’t think this is a scene where your character cries’. And all I can say is, ‘Good luck with that!’.”

Olivia admitted the excess of emotion had spilled over into her personal life, too.

She revealed: “It was slightly embarrassing at a parents’ meeting when a teacher was nice about my boy and I started to well up.”

Ellie posted the audio to Love Me Like You Do online, with artwork from the Fifty Shade’s poster, and promised a video is on its way.

RITA ORA, who plays Christian Grey’s sister Mia in the movie, will also have a song featured.
