Celebrity Gossip, January 16: Eddie Redmayne - ‘My wife thinks I’m too thin’

The actor said bride Hannah Bagshawe wants to feed him up after seeing some snaps of him looking slender at the LA premiere of The Theory Of Everything, in which he plays Stephen Hawking.

Eddie, who lost 15 pounds for the film, told Interview magazine: “She’s like, ‘Ed, you’re looking underweight.’ I said, ‘Baby, I’ve got loads of sushi and juices.’ And she was like, ‘That’s not what I’m talking about!”

Eddie, who scooped a Golden Globe for the film, was interviewed by JENNIFER LAWRENCE for the magazine.

KRISTEN STEWART has revealed she hopes people take stories about her with “a boulder of salt”.

The tabloid favourite opened up to HuffPost Live about how often she finds herself featured in gossipy stories, saying: “There is like, you know, a whole other form of entertainment that is just voraciously consumed.”

She continued: “It’s funny, you know, you do an interview and someone says, ‘Oh you’ve been working a lot? What are you planning on doing now?’ And you say, ‘Uh, I’m just going to take a second and like do something other than that.’ (And then stories appear which say) Kristen Stewart Quits Hollywood!”

However, the actress believes her fans won’t believe everything they read and, like her, will take rumours with “a whole big boulder of salt”.

The Sherlock heartthrob, whose fiancee Sophie Hunter is pregnant, mulled over potential names when he appeared on the talk show host’s programme.

Ellen warned: “Because of your last name, Cumberbatch you have to be careful with the first name.”

She continued: “So Ingelburg is one name I came up with. Ingelburg Cumberbatch.”

Ellen also suggested Harpsichord, saying it would work for a boy or a girl. “It could,” agreed Benedict. “It’s a unisex instrument.”

Ellen then suggested Carl and Glockenspiel, and Benedict replied: “Definitely a boy, definitely a boy. German boy in Lederhosen maybe, but a boy.”
