Centenary of Horsham author’s birth today
Horsham born author Hammond Innes was born 100 years today (Monday July 15).
He was born in Clarence Road, and a blue plaque was unveiled in The Causeway where he once lived.
Mr Innes was the author of many novels as well as travel and children’s books. He died in 1998.
