Challenge a robot toa game atClaverham

YOUNG table tennis players at Battle will be able to pit their skills against a robot as new junior sessions get underway at Claverham Community College.

The new sessions are being organised by Rother Rother Community Table Tennis Club and will take place on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at a cost of £3 per session.

The session is aimed at new players ideally from years 3 -7 and will provide a mixture of fun, coaching and skills awards for those interested. A robot will be on hand to add that extra challenge.

Rother Community Table Tennis Association also welcomes those with a disability, including wheelchairs, and is an English Table Tennis Association Three Star Premier Club which recently achieved ETTA Ability Club status.

No previous experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.

The idea of the session is to provide access to young players earlier in the evening than most traditional clubs operate.
