Charity garden event basks in autumn sunshine


GENEROUS visitors to Merriments raised an impressive sum for St Michael’s Hospice when the glorious gardens opened up in aid of the charity.
The sun-soaked open day brought in £1059.10 for the St Leonards-based hospice.
A spokesperson for Merriments, at Hurst Green, said: “We had a great turn out with their loyal following and lovely September sunshine all day.”
