Choristers create cheer in Littlehampton

Youngsters from the Arundel Cathedral choir swapped their usual venue in favour of Littlehampton’s Sainsbury’s store, in High Street, last week.

It was all in an effort to not only evoke some Christmas cheer but to raise funds for Crossroads Care South Central, too.

Elizabeth Stratford, master of the choristers, said: ”The children really enjoyed singing at the store and enjoyed a hot chocolate in its café.

“Some customers were visually moved hearing them, too.

“It is wonderful to bring this music into the community whilst raising money for a worthy cause.”
