Christmas lights switch-on in Langley Green

Langley Green residents will get the chance to watch the Christmas lights switch-on and have their say on their neighbourhood at the next meeting of their forum.

The Langley Green Forum meeting takes place on Thursday December 12.

The first item on the agenda is the switching on of the Langley Green Christmas tree lights on the parade at 6pm. Alderman Jim Smith will be joined by Langley Green Primary School pupils Ismail Saleem and Ellie Manville and Our Lady Queen of Heaven Primary School pupils Roberta and Edward Page.

Then it’s over to the Langley Green Centre for 7pm for the full forum meeting, followed by Christmas drinks and nibbles.

The agenda for the evening includes:

- Positions available at the AGM in March

- Guest speaker – Amit Bhargava, Crawley and Horsham Clinical Commissioning Group

- Police update

- Councillors’ update

- Christmas drinks and nibbles
