Church centremarks birthday

The Emmanuel Centre in Battle is currently celebrating its first year as a valuable community resource and home for Battle Methodist Church.

Since opening last March events have included conferences, childrens’ parties, blood transfusion sessions, concerts, meetings, a pirate day and even television filming.

The next event is a Table Top sale which takes place this Saturday (March 28) from 9am to noon. Expect lots of bargains, crafts, jewellery and more. Entrance and parking are free. Light refreshments will be available.

Upcoming events include a family Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th and a concert of show songs and light opera with the Nightingale Singers on April 11.
