Clergy comics look at lighter side of religion at Arundel event

FOUR vicars and a bishop will be back by popular demand when St Nicholas’ Church, Arundel, holds its second Clergy Comedy Night on Saturday.

And once again the dog-collared capers will be in aid of the charity FEAST (For Education And Social Transformation), an aid project based in Temil Neru, in southern India, which is also backed by St Nicholas’ ‘twinned’ parish in Stegaurach, Germany.

The Rt Rev David Farrer, who was previously a bishop in Australia, will be among the five-strong band fitting in practising their stand-up routines around writing their sermons for Sunday.

Tickets, price £10, include canapés and are available from the church office, telephone 01902 882262 or on the door on the night.

The show starts at 7.30pm and doors open at 7.
