Community Tree Planting

On Tuesday 12th November Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Senlac set out with colleagues from the Rotary Club of Battle and Battle Muffin Club to plant 30 young hardwood trees in Coronation Gardens Battle. The new trees comprising Birch Rowan and Cherry are in protective sleeves to assist their overwintering and were supplied by the Woodland Trust who are offering 4,000 packs to encourage groups around the country to plant 1 million trees each year
