Concern as Bognor man goes missing

Concern is growing for missing Bognor Regis man Joshua Bennett, who was last seen on Wednesday (August 10).

Joshua, 21, who lives at Clifton Road with his family, was staying in Graylingwell Drive in Chichester when he went missing. He was last seen at 7pm and has not been in contact since. It is believed Joshua may be in the London area.

Donna, Joshua’s mum, said: “Joshua’s family and friends are very worried about him. He doesn’t need to speak to us if he doesn’t want to, but we need to all know he’s safe and well.

“Joshua is a very gentle character and quite shy. People may notice him, as he appears agitated when he’s anxious and will often jerk and have twitches. If you see him, please contact police.”

Sergeant Kris Ottery said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Joshua’s welfare. I’d urge Joshua to get in touch so we can reassure his family and friends that he is safe and well.”

Joshua is described as being white, slim, 6ft 2in, with brown eyes, short untidy hair, pale complexion, wearing dark jeans and a black zip-up hooded top.

Joshua or anyone who sees someone matching his description is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 immediately.
