Cooden Golf Day
SIDLEY traders teed off at the Cooden Golf Club on Monday to raise funds for a cash-strapped voluntary organisation.
The group were originally playing to make money towards the village's Christmas lights, but decided to donate the cash to Sidley Community Association after reading of their plight in the Observer..
The group enjoyed lunch and a raffle before a round on the course.
Participants were led by Cllr Jimmy Carroll.
