County hall loses out as the Government hands out grant settlements for 2008
WEST Sussex will only get an extra £1.9m in its grant from the Government next year towards the extra £10m it needs to keep pace with inflation.
The money from last week's two per cent grant settlement to help pay for front line services in 2008/9 does not even cover next year's landfill tax rise of 2.1m.
