Crash closed Ninfield road
Part of the main road through Ninfield was closed on Monday evening, following a two-car crash.
A Peugeot hatchback and Mitsubishi Raging Bull collided on the A269 between Lunsford Cross and Ninfield at around 7.50pm.
One of the drivers fled the scene of the crash and the police helicopter was called out to help track him down
He was arrested, but later released without charge.
Both drivers received minor injuries in the accident.
The road was reopened at 9.30pm.
