Crawley comedian Romesh to star in crowd-funded sitcom

Crawley comedian Romesh Ranganathan will be one of the stars of a new crowd-funded sitcom.

Comedy The Mayoress, will also feature Jack Dee, Harry Hill, and Michelle Collins.

A Kickstarter appeal for £75,000 has been launched to make the show which was turned down by the BBC. The first episode will be distributed free online.
