Crews called to Barnham fire

Multiple fire crews bave been called to deal with a fire at a home in Barnham today (Monday, March 2).

The fire involved solar panels on a property in Elm Grove South in Barnham and has now been extinguished, the fire service has said.

An aerial ladder was used and a high pressure hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

According to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, crews were called from Littlehampton, Selsey, Chichester and Worthing.

A tweet read: "Crews from @LittlehamptonFS @SelseyFire and @ChichesterFire dealing with a fire involving solar panels at a property on Elm Grove South in Barnham along with the aerial ladder platform from @WorthingFire.

"Crews used one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire."
