Crime discussed at Haywards Heath Annual Town Meeting


She spoke of the focus on stopping domestic abuse, anti social behaviour, sex offences and hate crime whilst increasing road safety and engaging young people in crime prevention.
After questions from the public, leader of Haywards Heath Council Mike Pulfer said the policing system “represents how politically stable we are in this country”.

Hide AdHe also said that when the Haywards Heath relief road opens later this year traffic in the town centre is estimated to reduce by eight million traffic movements per year.
Addressing councillors and the public in Haywards Heath Town Hall, councillor Pulfer said the car park and bridge at Haywards Heath railway station should be finalised by May 2015, whilst the adjoining Waitrose plans to open its doors to customers in May 2016.
