Crime reported in Rye area
THREE phones, purses and cash cards were stolen from a storage area at the Queens Head pub in Icklesham on June 20.
Items including cigarettes and a shaver were stolen from a holiday chalet at Lydd Road, Camber between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on June 18. A car was set alight at Lydd Road at 2.25am on June 22.
Vandals struck at Northiam damaging fences at Station Road on June 12 and causing damage to a gutter and down pipes at Frewen Close on June 22.
A car at Main Street, Peasmarsh, had its rear window smashed.
