Armed police called to incident in Eastbourne town centre

Sussex Police says officers are responding to a report of a number of people fighting outside a house in Pevensey Road.

Officers were called to the scene at 11.13am.

A police spokesperson said, “One person has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.”

Police remain at the scene. There are no further details at this time.
