Armed police spotted in Bognor Regis after stabbing

Police units, including several armed officers, were spotted in Hazel Road, North Bersted at 4.15pm this evening after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed.

The man has been taken to hospital, a police spokesperson said, and initial reports suggest he is not in a life-threatening condition.

Two other men have been arrested on suspicion of involvement with the assault, and they are currently in custody for interview and further inquiries.

"Enquiries are at an early stage but we can confirm that there is no ongoing risk to the local public," the spokesperson said.
