Body found in search for missing Seaford woman
Police said it was discovered late on Friday night (March 3) in the shoreline at Tide Mills Beach, Seaford.
Although the body has not been formally identified, it is believed to be 54-year-old Maureen Jonas, police have confirmed.

Hide AdThe death is not being treated as suspicious and her family have been informed, police added.
Police said Maureen left her home in Sandore Road around 9.30am on Friday in an anxious state and her family reported her missing.
An extensive search of the area was carried out by officers, the Sussex Search and Rescue team and the police helicopter, according to police.
Inspector Howard Nevill said: “This is sadly not the outcome that we were hoping for but we are now supporting Maureen’s family at this difficult time.”
