Burglars attempt break-ins in villages around Horsham

Burglars tried to break into properties in villages around Horsham last week.

Police say that padlocks were broken and latches damaged on garage doors in Thelton Avenue, Broadbridge Heath.

The attempted break-in happened some time between 10am and 6pm on April 6.

In another incident at around 9pm on April 8 thieves tried to steal items from a shed in Billingshurst Road, Ashington.

But police say they think nothing was stolen.

Anyone with any information about the incidents is asked to contact police on 101.
