Chichester man jailed after burgling local convenience store
Police said Jonathan Turner, 35, unemployed, of Duncan Road, Chichester, has been jailed for 12 weeks after stealing alcohol and scratch cards from One Stop in St Paul’s Road.
Staff opened the shop at 6.45am on Sunday morning to find the front glass door was smashed.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said: "CCTV was viewed which showed a man using a metal pole to break in to the store around 1.25am that day.
"He was recognised as regular customer Jonathan Turner.
"Police attended the suspect’s address and found he was in possession of items matching those stolen from One Stop. Shoes and trousers matching those seen in the CCTV were also found at his home."
Police said Turner was arrested and charged with burglary, before being remanded in custody to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (April 20).
Turner was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £260.89 in compensation, police confirmed.
