The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Robert Eldridge, 30, of Chippendale Road, Crawley, was banned from driving for six months, with a £250 fine, a £25 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, and to driving without insurance.

Corey Mitchell, 22, of no fixed address, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing 16g of cannabis in Crawley.

Peter Haynes, 68, of Eltham, West Green, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with a £230 fine, with £85 costs, and a £20 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour, two counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, being drunk and disorderly, and failing to answer bail.

Robert Ryan, 53, of Blackwater Lane, Crawley, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £100 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to harassment, and to causing criminal damage to a window. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim.

Lennon Barrington, 30, of Findon Road, Brighton, was given a community order with a rehabilitation requirement, a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Crawley.

Kwame Appiah-Menkah, 27, of Stevenson Way, Three Bridges, was jailed for eight weeks. He had been found guilty of common assault, and of using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm, or distress.

Callum Harris, 28, of Kensington Road, Crawley, was given a 26 week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, with a rehabilitation activity requirement, an £80 victim surcharge, and £620 costs. He had been found guilty on two counts of common assault, and pleaded guilty to causing harassment by phone, text, and social media. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim, or going to an address in Crawley.

Gavin Collett, 32, of Bramber Road, Broadwater, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to taking a Suzuki GSX-R750 motorbike without the owner’s consent, in Crawley. He was also committed to crown court for sentencing after pleading guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified in Horsham, Worthing, and Brighton, driving without insurance, and two counts of failing to stop after an accident.

Kaspars Rusa, 28, of Lark Rise, Crawley, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to stealing two pairs of gloves from B&Q in Crawley.

Syed Shah, 37, of Foxglove Walk, Crawley, was banned from driving for 20 months, with a £110 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Crawley.

Charlene Lish, 29, of Anchor Way, Lingfield, was fined £140, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Djamal Belhaoua, 52, of Hood Close, Croydon, was fined £180, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £350 costs. He had been found guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour at Gatwick Airport.

Raivis Romanenko, 34, of Oak Road, West Bromwich, was fined £625, with a £44 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and £100 compensation. He had pleaded guilty to being drunk on an aircraft, and to common assault, both on a flight from Gatwick.

Antoine Seeballam, 63, of Punch Copse Road, Crawley, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol from Morrisons in Crawley.

Connor Warwick, 24, of Oatlands, Crawley, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis) at Faygate.

Gintaras Vaisa, 38, of Elmwood Avenue, Feltham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £50 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to theft of clothing from Sainsbury’s in Crawley, and to failing to answer bail.

Paul Brown, 42, of Chestnut Road, Kingston Upon Thames, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Andrew Chase, 32, of Rusper Road, Crawley, was given an absolute discharge, with three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a red light at Buck Barn.

Lamar Saunders, 22, of Netherwood Road, London, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Shirley Ashby, 57, of Christie Close, Chatham, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Nigel Langdon, 42, of Drapers Road, Enfield, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Victor Marquez, 32, of Portland Road, Hove, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Glynis Simpson, 62, of Ridgeway, East Grinstead, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted in her absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Ashley Alderman, 23, of Coteford Street, London, was given a community order with 50 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, and £50 costs. He had pleaded guilty to six counts of breaching a non-molestation order by sending texts and Facebook messages to a woman in Crawley.

Pasquale Frangione, 25, of Friends Avenue, Cheshunt, was given an absolute discharge, with £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to stealing sunglasses from a shop at Gatwick Airport.
