A teenager charged in connection with the Crawley College incident has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance.
Sandijs Dreimanis, 18, of Barton Walk in Crawley, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possession of a bladed article on a school premises, said police.

Hide AdHe was charged after armed police descended on the college after shots were fired there on Monday afternoon, April 28.
Dreimanis appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court this morning, police said.
A spokeswoman added: “He has been remanded in custody to appear in crown court on May 26 at Lewes Crown Court.”
