Henfield man charged after burglary on his estate

A Henfield man has been charged with burglary after he stole jewellery and cash from a home on the estate where he lives.

Carl Bridgewater, 28, of Wantley Hill Estate, broke into another property on the estate between September 13 and October 27.

He has been ordered to appear at Lewes Crown Court on November 21.

Another man has been charged with possession of a Class B drug and for breaking into three homes, including one in Storrington.

Michael Marshall, 34, of Carleton Road, Chichester, broke into a home in Rapley Avenue on October 13.

He has been released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on December 23.
