Hunt for suspected dangerous drivers after overloaded vehicles seized in Bognor Regis

Police are searching for the drivers of two cars which were driven dangerously through Bognor yesterday (Saturday, February 29).

Sussex Roads Police said it attended reports of two 'heavily overloaded' vehicles being 'driven dangerously' from Littlehampton via Bognor and into Birdham.

They added: "Officers located the vehicles however they had been abandoned by their drivers.

"They are both white Ford Transit tipper vans which were visibly very heavily laden with rubble and both sign written with a driveway company. They were dangerously overweight and both seized.

"If anyone has any information which may assist us in identifying the drivers (including dashcam of the vehicles being driven) please call Sussex Police on 101 quoting CAD 0917 29/02/2020 #CV282."
