July 10:

Simon Elgy, 37, of Queensdale Crescent, Hammersmith, London, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. The offence took place at Gatwick South Terminal on February 1. The court found the offence was aggravated due to hostility towards persons who are transgender. He was ordered to pay £400 in compensation.

Jake Sheldrake, 32, of Moyne Road, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to failing to notify police of his current address under the terms of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

Norbert Tassy, 47, of London Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Mazda vehicle in London Road, Crawley, on April 18, while more than twice over the drink-drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 79 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He also pleaded guilty to driving with a defective tyre. He was fined £346 and banned from driving for 17 months.

Johan Widlund, 29, of London Road, East Grinstead, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan panel van in Ardingly Road, West Hoathley, on June 10, while more than three times over the drink-drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 123 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.The court made a community order with a requirement of 150 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 29 months.

Tommy Corrigall, 22, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place in Springfield Road, Horsham, on January 11. He also pleaded guilty to causing £1,296.70 damage to a motor vehicle and £474 damage to a pair of glasses at Horsham on the same date. In addition, he pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £510 in compensation.

July 13:

Mattia Miorali, 39, of Trafalgar Gardens, Crawley, pleaded guilty to speeding on Gatwick Road, Crawley, on October 19 last year. He was fined £259 and his driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Omar Khan, 38, of Hillmead, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cocaine. The offence took place at Crawley on December 20 last year. He was fined £350.

Stuart Puddick, 39, of Oak Way, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Polo in Broad Street, Cuckfield, on December 28, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He also indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of two cannabis cigarettes on the same date. 
He was fined £350 and banned from driving for one year.

Lucy Tomsett, 33, of Goring Road, Steyning, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing make-up worth £218 from Debenhams in Crawley on December 30 last year. She was given a one year conditional discharge.

July 17:

Saul McWilton, 20, of Dobbins Place, Ifield, Crawley, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour in West Sussex on June 19. He was fined £83.

David Smith, 54, of St Josephs Way, Haywards Heath, indicated guilty pleas to being in possession of quantities of heroin and cocaine at Haywards Heath on February 21. He was fined £40 for each offence.
