March 18:

Fraser MacDonald, 70, of Church Street, Ticehurst, indicated a plea of guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour. The offence took place at Ticehurst on September 18. He was fined 3,707 and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.

Hannah Bradbeer, 34, of Ian Close, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to stalking of a man by attending his house and throwing eggs, attending his place of work and making phone calls. The offences took place at Hastings between January 1 2019 and January 4 2020. Sentencing was adjourned until may 4 to allow for pre-sentence reports to be prepared. She was released on bail with the condition not to contact the victim.

Ryan Etherton, 43, of Willingdon Way, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to stealing meat worth £95.34, from Lidl in Bohemia Road, Hastings, on August 12 last year. He indicated a plea of guilty to entering Lidl on the same date when prohibited from doing so by a Criminal Behaviour Order. Sentencing was adjourned until April 9 for reports to be prepared. He was remanded in custody.

Sami Macintosh, 22, of Cantelupe Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a glass door. The offence took place at Bexhill on March 21. He admitted being in breach of a conditional discharge for an earlier offence of obstructing a police officer. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation. Magistrates issued a restraining order.

A 15 year old Hastings youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman and causing her actual bodily harm. The offence took place at St Leonards on December 7. He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of an offensive weapon, in a public place, on the same date, and using it to threaten a person. The court made a Youth Rehabilitation Order with a two month electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 7am.
