Man arrested in Newhaven after assault in Brighton store

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged after an assault at a Co-op store in Brighton in July.

According to Sussex Police, Kamil Kaminski was arrested by police in Newhaven on Thursday evening (September 10).

Police said he was then charged, on Friday afternoon (September 11), with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in connection with an alleged assault at Co-op in St James’s Street, Brighton, on July 9.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (September 12).
