Pepper spray attack in Horsham pub

Pub goers in Horsham were left in ‘great pain’ after a man attacked customers at The Boar’s Head with incapacitant spray.

Police were called to the pub in Worthing Road shortly before 10pm on Friday October 18.

At least two people were affected by the spray before the man left.

The victims were treated by paramedics at the scene.

The man is described as white, about 5’10” and with short cropped hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket.

A police spokesman said: “This was a very distressing incident for the people involved who were left in great pain by the attack.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who might have been in the pub and saw the incident taking place or the events that led up to it.

“We would also urge anyone who recognises the description of the offender to contact us.”
