Police said an arrest has been made tonight (Friday, January 14) following reports involving weapons and violence in Heathfield.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “Officers are in the area and have already made an arrest and have a dispersal order in place which has been utilised to disperse one group.
“We will have officers around throughout the evening.”
