Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged while parked in an Eastbourne street.

Officers were called after the owner of a blue Kia Picanto noticed damage to the vehicle while it was parked in Borough Lane, in Old Town, on Sunday (July 19).

Sussex Police say the damage – a crack on the right hand side of the windscreen – happened between 9am and 10am that day.

Anyone who saw what happened, or has any other information relating to the matter, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1376 of 19/07.
