Sussex Police are appealing for information from the public after a woman reported being raped by three men in Cornwallis Gardens, Hastings.

The incident took place between 10pm on Saturday, August 6 and 1.20am the following morning.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said the victim is being treated by specially trained officers while the investigation proceeds.

Officers would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who saw three people heaving suspiciously in the area around Cornwallis Gardens. Anyone with information or CCTV is asked to report it to police online or call 101, quoting serial number 141 of 07/06.
