Police investigating suspected attempted murder in Crawley after man suffers neck injury

Police in Crawley are appealing for witnesses in connection with the incident in Ifield Road, Crawley.

A spokesman said: “Officers were called to Crawley Hospital at approximately 9.45am on Thursday February 4 after a man presented with a laceration to his neck.

The attack is believed to have taken place between 10pm on Wednesday and 9.45am on Thursday, said police. The spokesman added: “Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in Ifield Road between these times or who has any information about the incident is urged to report online or call 101 quoting serial 309 of 04/02.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
