Police make arrest after man suffers face injury in Ashington fight

Officers were called to Viney Close, Pulborough, shortly after 1am on Monday (October 5) to reports of two men fighting, police said.

A spokesman addied: “One man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and hand. He has since been discharged.

“A second man, known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody at this time.

“Anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 40 of 05/10.”
