Police record 12 speeding vehicles on a single Hastings road
Police announced that they recorded 12 speeding vehicles on a single Hastings road in just one hour.
Police joined a local Community Speedwatch team yesterday (August 3) to monitor Elphinstone Road after residents complained.
A Hastings Police spokesperson said: “Yesterday you told us about your concerns regarding speeding in Elphinstone Road, Hastings so we joined up with the CSW team and in just one hour we recorded a total of 12 speeding vehicles, the highest speed being 45 in a 30mph zone.”
