Police seek man after teenage girl '˜kicked, punched, and dragged by hair' in Crawley

Police are searching for a man in connection with an attack on a teenager in which she was '˜kicked, punched, and dragged by her hair', police have said.

Police want to speak to Ryan Evans, 23, as part of an investigation into allegations that a 17-year-old was assaulted while walking in the Tilgate area on June 9.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Evans, who is currently homeless, is described as white, 5’10”, with brown hair and grey eyes, is sought as part of an investigation into allegations that the girl was kicked, punched, and dragged along by her hair whilst walking in the Tilgate area on that day.”

Investigator Leanne McSorley said; “If you have seen Ryan or know where he may be, we need to hear from you.

“You can contact us in confidence via [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting serial 1565 of 09/06.”
