'Scams are constantly evolving' - Police in East Sussex warn against scams
Wealden Police have started a campaign to help prevent people from being scammed.
A force spokesperson said: “Scams are constantly evolving, and awareness is one of our strongest defences.
“We play a huge part in helping our communities recognise and understand various scams. For PCSO Choppin, delivering scam talks is a particularly rewarding part of her role.
“Word of mouth matters. If you hear about a scam, spread the word.”
PCSO Choppin added: “I don’t think people that do this realise the impact it has on people.”
