There was a large police response to an incident in Shoreham-by-Sea this afternoon (Thursday, December 22).

Four police cars and one van were seen outside the Crown & Anchor pub in Shoreham’s High Street.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a disturbance at an address in Shoreham High Street at about 12.50pm.

“A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and obstructing or resisting an officer in the execution of their duty. He remains in custody at this time.”
