Sussex Sarah Everard vigil: Demonstrators clash with police - in pictures

One person was arrested in Valley Gardens, Brighton, and a further eight were fined as Sussex Police clashed with the crowds.

Police had warned people gathering that they would be in violation of Covid restrictions and an official event, Reclaim These Streets, was cancelled.
