Teen ‘throws sausage roll at woman’ in row over face coverings at Haywards Heath Greggs

Inspector Darren Taylor of Mid Sussex Police said the incident happened at the bakery branch this afternoon, January 11.

He said: “[A] male who was asked to wear a mask in the shop has verbally abused a lady and then thrown his paid for sausage roll at her!”

Police are searching for a suspect in connection with the incident, Inspector Taylor added.

He said police are looking for a white 5’6” male with a stocky build and short brown wavy mousey hair. The suspect is understood to have been aged in his mid teens.
