Train delays of 30 minutes from Littlehampton
VANDALS have caused serious disruption to train services in the area today (Tuesday, September 6) after a length of copper cabling was damaged at Littlehampton Train Station.
Train services between Littlehampton, Bognor, Barnham and Arundel are expected to be delayed by up to 30 minutes for an indefinite amount of time, due to signalling problems.
Replacement bus services will soon be in effect, ferrying passengers between the affected stations.
A Southern Rail spokeswoman said: “We are sorry for any disruption this may cause. We intend to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”
The British Transport Police are now investigating the incident.
