Unprovoked attack in Felpham

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following an unprovoked attack on a 58-year-old woman in Felpham.

The victim was in Shirley Drive, close to the junction of Whitelands, at 6.30pm on Monday October 29 when she was approached by two men who asked if she had a bag.

When she said no, she was pushed to the ground and suffered bruising and grazing to her cheek bone, hand and knees. The offenders then ran off.

A police spokesperson said: “The two men are described as being white, of medium build, approximately 5’10” tall and dark haired. The male that spoke is described as having a southern accent.

“This was a totally unprovoked attack on a woman as she went about her business and we’re keen to find the men responsible for injuring her as soon as possible.
