Police were called to W Bruford in The Beacon at 10.10am on Sunday January 26 after 15 Rolex watches worth an estimated £150,000 were stolen.

Four men, all wearing masks and one reported to be carrying a small handheld pick axe or hammer, ran into the shop, which opened in the new shopping complex just before Christmas.

A search of the area, assisted by armed police officers and the police helicopter, was conducted and two people were arrested on the Cuckoo trail near Station Road.

Owner Ashley Pugh said on the W Bruford Facebook page today, “After an incident in store yesterday we are back up and running – open for business as usual.”

Mr Pugh said he and his team wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and kind words.
