What would you ask the chief inspector of Horsham police?

DISTRICT Commanders from Sussex Police will take part in a day of live webchats on Tuesday April 17.

A total of 13 commanders from across the county, including Sharon Parker of Horsham police, will be answering your questions over a 45 minute chat.

Members of public will be able to submit questions to their local officer and chat with them via the Sussex Police website or via Twitter @sussex_police using the hashtag #policinglive.

It follows the success of last October’s live webcam day in which people could join officers in their offices and on the street.

Jason Tingley, Lewes District Commander Chief Inspector, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to contact us to discuss what is important to them.

“They can ask us what plans we have for combating and reducing crime in their areas. Perhaps they have ideas which they think will make a difference in their communities. We want to hear from you.”

Each District Commander has recorded a Vlog which will go live on Friday April 13 and people are encouraged to submit questions and feedback before, during and after the live event.

The final schedule for the day will also be posted on the website this Friday.
