Cyclist killed on A24
A CYCLIST was killed today (Wednesday) after colliding with a car near the Ashington junction on the A24.
The incident happened on the north bound carriageway, close to the Washington roundabout, at 6.45am.
Police closed the road and re-directed traffic.
Officers are still investigating what happened and no other details about the cyclist have been released yet.
