Date set for Battle Soapbox Race
THE inaugural Battle Soapbox Race is to take place on Sunday June 30, it has been confirmed.
The event, which is being organised by businessman Dale Cromwell and friends, will be open to a maximum of 30 teams, who will race down the High Street, ending at Battle Abbey.
The event will raise money for local causes.
There will be prizes available.
