POLICE have named the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a car on the A26 at Newhaven.

Paul Fry, 38, of Collingwood Close, Peacehaven, died when his Honda motorbike collided with a Ford Focus near the Three Ponds caravan park at South Heighton.

The driver and four passengers in the car were taken to hospital with slight injuries after the accident on August 11 at around 4pm.

Police are keen to speak with anyone who saw the crash and in particular the driver of a light or cream coloured Transit-style van which was travelling north along the A26.
