Do not delay, county tells road minister
West Sussex County Council has urged a Government minister not to delay the process of securing vital improvements to the heavily congested A27.
A letter has been sent to transport minister Stephen Ladyman, expressing concern that a decision on the A27 at Chichester may be delayed until next Spring.
Cllr Tex Pemberton has also called for an early announcement of any new Government timetable for the A27 improvements at Arundel and Worthing.
